the Ekklesia

With a focus on true discipleship our goal is maturing in the faith through wholehearted fellowship with our Lord Jesus. As we are being conformed into His image, we seek to cultivate and help His body grow, His assembly. We freely give what we have freely received from His great commission, the saving life of Christ and His eternal gospel. We do not pick and choose certain scriptures to live by or present a list of dos and do not, it is our mission to present the whole counsel of God from Genesis to the Revelation. We offer Christ and Him crucified, our resurrected and ascended Lord, the high priest of our confession. The Word that became flesh, the first born among many brethren. The great I AM is who we serve, and it is His Kingdom we preach. The following verses are but a fraction of the absolute reality of salvation found only in Christ Jesus as revealed by His Spirit throughout all of scripture.

For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). (Amplified Bible 1 Cor. 3:11)

Therefore, if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). So, we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. (Amplified Bible 2 Cor. 5:17-21)

And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the assembly), [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him. So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). For because of Him the whole body (the assembly, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love. (Amplified Bible Eph. 4:11-16)

Therefore, let us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God, with teachings about purifying, the laying on of hands, the resurrection from the dead, and eternal judgment and punishment. [These are all matters of which you should have been fully aware long, long ago.] If indeed God permits, we will [now] proceed [to advanced teaching]. (Amplified Bible Heb. 6:1-3)

In order to accomplish the mission the Lord has given to us, we as co-workers with Christ seek to cultivate God’s Kingdom through multiple avenues including but of course not limited to:

  • online and digital ministry

  • local and global bible exploration

  • fellowship and prayer meetings

  • teaching and preaching

  • homesteading

  • permaculture

  • beyond organic farming, and

  • holistic health.

All of these for the equipping and the edification of the body of Christ as well as evangelistic outreach to help bring in His harvest. We pray we can be a blessing to the local communities wherever we may be and to those who are reached through the doors the Lord has opened to us for the gospel!
